Know our history

2015

We became the first aquaculture company in Andalusia to occupy a space in the public land maritime domain for the cultivation of seaweed, carrying out its cultivation in inland ponds taking advantage of the natural flows of the tides.

2017

We obtained the Ecological certification with CAAE.

2018

ECOALGA® is a biotechnology-based company linked to innovation, awarded by the Andalusian Maritime Cluster with the Proa 2018 New Company Awards award.

Privileged environment

Our cultivation area (more than 8 hectares), is located in the Natural Area of Rio Piedras and Flecha del Rompido, a privileged environment on the coast of Huelva in Andalusia (Spain).

It is an enclave protected by the Natura 2000 Network for the conservation of biodiversity of the European Economic Community, which allows us to obtain products with Ecological Certification within the framework of the Blue Economy.

The development of our activity generates a positive ecological impact in the area, since our ponds under the protection of macro algae become areas of juvenile fish for a multitude of species such as the Fish Eagle, Flamingos, Spatulas or Gray Herons, creating a unique ecosystem .

This life cycle allows the development of a quality product, 100% natural, free of any additive of chemical synthesis and with great nutritional wealth from the marine resources that our coastline offers us.
